Public Education in Rural North Wales

This project funded through the Commission for Racial equality “Getting results” is currently under way. The project will contribute towards the development of NWREN’s website into a multi-lingual information resource. This will be available to key stakeholders and agents in order to facilitate and enable communication between BMEs and information providers. The development of these mutually beneficial relationships will enable the establishment of effective uptake of support services and help to improve inclusion at regional and local levels

“There is a need for a well-resourced and sustainable network organisation in the region to act as a source of information and expertise as well as a key signpost to specialist support agencies for both BME individuals and for agencies and professional workers”

The content will be specifically tailored to the needs of BME end users. A support/training package will be developed and available to those information providers utilising the resource in each geographic area.
